Lady Ocean is the third generation in a remarkable legacy of women who cook with heart, style, and purpose. She began her journey in hospitality at just 15 years old, starting out front of house before making her way into the kitchen—where she truly found her calling.
Over the years, Ocean has worked across a wide range of cuisines and culinary settings, continually pushing herself to learn, evolve, and explore. Her passion for food has taken her across the globe, from Australia to Finland, France to Portugal, Spain, and beyond—each destination deepening her appreciation for culinary traditions and global flavors.
Ocean’s talent and dedication led her into a unique and coveted role: cooking for world-renowned artists on tour. As a celebrity chef, she crafted meals for icons such as Tony Bennett, Christina Aguilera, Smokey Robinson, Jason Mraz, and Penn & Teller—bringing comfort and excellence to some of the most discerning clients in the world.
But at her core, Ocean’s heart belongs to the art of patisserie and the timeless ritual of English afternoon tea. Inspired by her Nan Christina’s fairy cakes and her mum Sheila’s eye for elegance, she continues to honor the legacy of the women before her—infusing every pastry and teacup with a sense of tradition, love, and creativity.

Sheila is a powerhouse of determination, creativity, and grace. A former elite athlete, she represented Great Britain as a synchronized swimmer, competing on the world stage with unwavering dedication and poise. Her drive is unparalleled—when Sheila commits to something, she brings it to life with discipline and passion.
After her athletic career, Sheila turned her focus to entrepreneurship, carrying forward the dream first imagined by her mother, Christina Kenton: to one day open a tea room filled with warmth, elegance, and charm. That dream has lived on through her, evolving with her incredible eye for beauty and design.
A naturally gifted interior designer, Sheila has a remarkable creative flair and a sixth sense for transforming spaces. Her style is sophisticated, thoughtful, and distinctly her own.
But perhaps most beautifully, Sheila has always been a source of encouragement and inspiration for her daughter, Ocean—pushing her to explore her own creativity, follow her passions fearlessly, and carry forward the legacy of strong, driven women who lead with both heart and vision.

Christina Kenton was the heart of our kitchen and the soul of our family. An enthusiastic and phenomenal cook, she had an almost magical way of turning simple ingredients into something unforgettable. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, laughter, and the kind of meals that brought everyone to the table.
From a very young age, she instilled in both Sheila and Ocean a deep love for home cooking and the joy of feeding those you love. It was always her dream to open a tea room or a little restaurant—a dream so full of heart that it’s continued to live on through three generations.
She was the one who taught Ocean how to make her very first fairy cake, lighting a spark that would grow into a lifelong passion for pastries and confectionery. And her impeccable sense of style—graceful, charming, effortlessly elegant—shines brightly in Sheila to this day.
Christina wasn’t just a wonderful cook; she was a legacy-builder. Her warmth, her vision, and her unwavering belief in family have become the foundation of everything we carry forward.
